Library details: Vista Grande Public Library is a Public library. This library is the central facility for the library system that serves Eldorado, NM.

VGPL is located on Avenida Torreon, adjacent to the El Dorado Elementary School, and one mile from Highway 285 down Avenida Vista Grande. Current hours are 1 to 6 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1 to 9 PM on Wednesdays, and 12 to 5 PM on Fridays and Saturdays. The library is closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Volunteer Opportunities
The Vista Grande Public Library depends on our area community for its financial survival; virtually 100 percent of our annual operating budget is funded by donations, with no tax dollars or government funds. Correspondingly, volunteers make up the bulk of the library staff and board of directors, and VGPL is always looking to augment that group of loyal helpers.
